An Allied Press Information Centre (APIC) will be established in Taranto Naval Base from 10-30 June 2005. The Press Information Centre will be open daily from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Press Identification Cards will be issued on arrival at the APIC and all media wishing to attend any of the media facilities throughout the exercise must be accredited and issued with their Press Identification Card by midday on Monday 20 June.

Media with particular specialist interests or requirements are asked to make their needs known early to the APIC so that facilities can be specifically arranged.

Press Conference Tuesday 21 June 5.00pm
A Press Conference will be held on Tuesday 21 June in the APIC Auditorium at 5.00pm. Admiral Sir Jonathon Band KCB UKN and Vice Admiral Branciforte ITN will take questions, together with medical and operational specialists. The Press Conference will be followed by a press reception.

Media Day Wednesday 22 June
7.00 am – 7.00pm

A Media Day will be held on Wednesday 22 June.
Members of the press will have the opportunity to fly by Sea King helicopter to the LPD San Giusto and then embark in smaller boats to view escape and rescue procedures with different rescue systems. A limited number of places will be available for members of the press to view the exercise from one of the submersibles.
